Remote Monitoring and Control
Monitor and control your MultiPlus and system or systems’ locally (LAN) or remotely via the internet from anywhere in the world, using the free VRM app and free VRM portal website.
Access can be from a phone, tablet, laptop or PC for multiple operating systems.
There is no end to the level of control, via the required Color Control GX or Venus GX (or even a Raspberry Pi for a lower cost solution), from adjusting your MultiPlus to setting a Geofence for hire vehicles and more…
Connectivity
The Multiplus has a switch that selects between ON, OFF, and Charger Only. There is a Control Panel available that replicates the switch and lights on the Multiplus as well has having direct control over managing the input current limit.
If you want to use with the CCGX or Venus GX for monitoring and control, then all that is needed to add is an standard RJ45 Network Cable.
If you like the idea of using your Smart Phone to setup and Monitor the Multiplus, then the VE.Bus Bluetooth Dongle is ideal. The Dongle also provides Enhanced Voltage and Battery Temperature Data for optimized charging.
The final connection option is the VE.Bus Mk3 Dongle. This is needed to if you want to connect to your Raspberry Pi running the Venus OS. The VE.Bus Dongle is also required if you want to connect the Multiplus to your Laptop to configure the Multiplus or if you wanted to update the firmware yourself at some data rather then paying a Victron distributor to do so.
Variant Options
The new Multiplus is available from the Wildebus shop in four different sizes, tuned and balanced to different requirements.
We have the following models:
- 12/500/20 – This is a 12V based unit 500VA (430W) Inverter coupled with a 20A Charger
- 12/800/35 – This is a 12V based unit 800VA (700W) Inverter coupled with a 35A Charger
- 12/1200/50 – This is a 12V based unit 1200VA (1000W) Inverter coupled with a 50A Charger
- 12/1600/70 – This is a 12V based unit 1600VA (1300W) Inverter coupled with a 70A Charger
Further information is in the Product Specifications tab. We can also supply on request larger models in the Multiplus Range as well as 24V units rather than 12V if you have a system based on a 24V Battery Bank
Please note that although the housings are the same design between the 4 different options, the actual size increases as the capacity increases, so be sure to check the size of your particular selection
